Voksne som ikke har slike rettigheter kan likevel få tilbud om opplæring mot en kursavgift. Det gis opplæring fra nivå A1 til B2 og til alle kategorier minoritetsspråklige.
Kursene gir en innføring i grunnleggende norsk språk og samfunn.
Du vil få grunnleggende kompetanse i norsk gjennom å kommunisere, lese og skrive, og bli bedre forberedt til å møte norsk hverdags- og arbeidsliv. Det vil også hjelpe deg på vei mot norskprøven.
Undervisningen består av å trene ferdigheter gjennom: lese-, lytte-, skrive- snakke- og samtaleøvelser. Vi underviser etter Lærerplan i norsk og samfunnskunnskap for voksne innvandrere, og tilbyr undervisning både på dagtid og på kveldstid.
Sandefjord voksenopplæring arrangerer også norskprøver, samfunnskunnskapsprøver og statsborgerprøver. Påmelding til disse prøvene finner du på Kompetanse Norges hjemmesider.
Under enkelte omstendigheter kan du ha rett til fritak fra plikten til oppæring. Dette gjelder dersom du enten kan dokumentere:
- Tilstrekkelige kunnskaper gjennom tidligere bestått prøve eller opplæring, eller
- Helsemessige eller andre tungtveiende hensyn som gjør at du ikke har mulighet til å gjennomføre opplæringen.
Norwegian language and Norwegian social studies
Sandefjord Adult Education provides courses in Norwegian language and Norwegian social studies for adult individuals with rights under the Integration or Introduction law. Adults who do not have such rights may still attend these courses for a fee.
Our Norwegian language courses cover levels A1 to B2 and are available to all minority language speakers. The courses provide an introduction to basic Norwegian language and society. You will gain basic proficiency in Norwegian through communication, reading, and writing, better preparing you for everyday life and work in Norway.
The teaching includes skills practice through reading, listening, writing, speaking, and conversation exercises. We follow the Curriculum in Norwegian and Social Studies for Adult Immigrants and offer both daytime and evening classes.
Sandefjord Adult Education also organizes Norwegian language tests, social studies tests, and citizenship tests. Dates for the tests and registration for these tests can be found on the Kompetanse Norge website.
Under certain circumstances, you may be entitled to exemption from the obligation to attend classes. This applies if you can document either:
1. Sufficient knowledge through a previously passed test or training, or
2. Health or other significant considerations that make it impossible for you to physically attend courses.
